The Challenge at Hand
Lobster Shack aimed to attract more customers both domestically and internationally, but they faced a couple of key challenges. First, while people were aware of Lobster Shack, it wasn’t on their radar as a must-visit destination. Our mission was to transform it from just a quick lunch stop into a beloved hotspot for food lovers! Second, they wanted to ramp up sales of their fishing charters as this was one of their main target markets.
Overview
To help Lobster Shack expand its market, we decided to implement a holistic strategic approach to their marketing. It was time for a refreshing revamp to make Lobster Shack more appealing to a broader audience. With its breezy, colourful atmosphere, timber decor, and outdoor tables serving up delicious seafood lunches, Lobster Shack is a gem by the coast. Our goal was to create a more personable brand.
Our Approach
- A holistic approach: We introduced a holistic strategic approach for all of their marketing. By integrating all aspects of marketing, we can achieve impactful results and create a cohesive brand experience.
- Creating the Online Experience: Lobster Shack’s website was ready for a makeover! We aimed for a fresh, simple design that’s both engaging and easy to navigate. Plus, we recently introduced a Chinese version of the site to better connect with our international audience.
- Crafting Captivating Content: We introduced Lobster Shack to the world of Instagram, whilst elevating their existing Facebook account. We infused a sense of fun and relaxation into Lobster Shack’s organic social media, capturing the delightful experience of dining at the restaurant.
- Elevating Email Engagement: With the introduction of email marketing, we were able to communicate with our audience on another level. We used email marketing as a place for special offers for frequent receivers.

Results
Thanks to the success of our holistic marketing approach with Lobster Shack, they’ve been able to introduce exciting new experiences that fuel their growth. While the fishing charters have been discontinued, the addition of Sea Lion tours, factory tours, and live music at the restaurant has helped the business thrive.
With the expansion into the international market, we also launched a Chinese version of their website to better serve diverse audiences. This holistic approach allowed us to unify the brand across all digital platforms, creating a personable and cohesive experience for customers.
