The first day of a new job is always a little bit unnerving – you meet your new colleagues, set up your desk just the way you like and try to figure out where to park your car.
Unluckily for me, my first day at Red Lips Media also involved facing my biggest fear … birds.
I’m not sure if you are aware but South Perth has an abnormally high percentage of birds per capita. It might have something to do with the zoo, or it could just be God’s little reminder that we can’t have everything we want in our lives – for me it was amazing, new job versus dealing with birds. Looks like I’ll be facing my fear!
Coming from the fast-paced world of publishing, I’m ready to propel myself into the future and dive straight into the unpredictable world of social.
Whether I’m working on perfecting copy for clients, thinking of new strategies to drive forward social media or looking at strategies for businesses to really nail their digital space, all of it is achieved with an open mind and a thirst for the innovation and creative solution.

If you were a social media platform which one would you be and why?
I would be Facebook because I tend to make the rules and I have a strict set of guidelines.
What do you do at Red Lips Media?
I manage the team of bloggers and social media experts that do the daily posting for our awesome clients.
What’s your favourite thing about Red Lips Media?
I love working in a business that is on an exponential growth path where I am able to make an impact.
What’s a scene from a movie that accurately describes your life?
Any scene in the Harry Potter series where Hermione says something dorky.
What’s something that we don’t know about you?
I am almost too organised, but not in a humble braggy way, more in an omg-let-me-make-a-list-before-we-do-anything sort of way. It gets so bad that I outfit plan for my holidays and I have to meal prep every Sunday morning for the week.
